My Personal Story

I truly found my happiness in seeds by focusing on a non-grain diet.

​

Back in 2009, I was diagnosed with chronic inflammatory disease. Every part of my body felt painfully inflamed, and I couldn’t understand why. The only answer doctors ever gave me was medication - steroids, biologics, and other drugs. But the potential side effects were overwhelming, and accepting them didn’t sit right with me.

​

So, I started searching for answers on my own. I was determined - more than anything, I just wanted to feel normal again. That’s when a colleague at work introduced me to the paleo diet… and it completely changed my life. I loved it. My body loved it. I was still on medication at first, but I could feel a dramatic difference after few months.

​

After two years on the diet, I was able to stop taking all of my prescription medications.

​

​Now, I’m not here to glorify the paleo diet - it may not be right for everyone. I made mistakes along the way and learned a lot through trial and error. I also kept up with blood tests every six months to make sure I wasn’t deficient in any key vitamins or minerals. Later on I completed a tutorial and received Certificate in Food, Nutrition, and Health to better understand my body and its needs.

Blood test results came back normal. No more inflammation. And to this day… it’s still gone.

 

Yaay - I did it!!

That journey inspired Seed Happiness. I created this space to share what I’ve learned and to help others. I hope my story encourages you to believe in the healing power of food, and to never lose hope- especially if you’re battling a chronic illness.

​
